Hello Everybody.
I'm new to the forum, and not very experienced LAN biulder but the problem seems to be quite primitive and obvious.
Angry IP scanner shows the correct number of 21 devices present in the LAN. Same time ASUS GUI Network Map shows there are 9-17 devices present in the LAN (what is uncorrect) and this number changes every few moments, wile nothing really changes in the presence of LAN devices.
Most of the devices (19/21) have static IP. No WiFi devices connected.
The devices that never appear are Netgear switch with dynamic IP and Toshiba printer with static IP. Quite usually VMWare and OpenVZ hosts and containers are missing. None of the devices have it's correct network name listed in the routers network map. The IP and MAC numbers are always correct.
None of the devices have any problems with LAN or internet connection, everythig works well, just can't see them on the network, what is quite important, and basic functionality of the router interface.
Tried to google this problem out, and found some similar posts, but never found the strict answer.
What is wrong? Is it the firmware bug, or is it the router failure? Or something else?
Thank you for help.
Cheers.
Victoire.
ps. Router is ASUS AX88U with last stable Merlin firmware 384.15 edition. (Brand new, one month old. No phisical or any other disaster ever happend to it). It works as the default gateway. The default DNS server for workstations is the windows server 2012 r2 domain controler .
ps2. It's the office environment with Windows Domain Controlers servers, some other virtual mashines, NAS, some workstations, some printers. Nothing special.
ps3. Previous cisco router never had similar problems.
