My issue:
Wifi is extremely slow on phones on my 2.4ghz wifi network, getting only 5-7mpbs on speedtest. My Macbook Air gets 154.89mbps on speedtest.

All devices on the 5ghz are fine. But most devices on the 2.4ghz are extremely slow. I have the 2.4ghz set to the default settings.

I am running the latest 3004.388.8_4 firmware.

What I tried so far:
  • I tried unplugging all ethernet devices.
  • I tried unplugging my USB disk from the router.
  • I tried numerous different settings and variations.
  • I even did a full factory reset/wipe and reset up all settings from scratch.
  • I changed the channel and scanned it to make sure there were no conflicts.
  • I forgot the network on the phones, reconnected, etc.

I have 2.4 GHz devices that can't go on the 5 GHz network.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Are you talking about MBps or Mbps? Makes a huge difference.

Lower case m is milli, thousands of something in a unit, and M is Mega, millions. Speaking of units, B is for Bytes, which contain 8 bits. 8MB is 8000B or 64000b.
So please, OP, be sure of your units. You may be comparing apples and oranges. (Screenshots help). Your last post implied the unit may have been more peanut butter sandwiches…or did you mean to type “more political bullish!t”?

Must be a typo, small case "m" = thousandths.
