I need help. I have a new router and am having problems. I can't update or download apps on multiple apple devices over the wi-fi. They start to download with the circular icon on the apple device showing it downloading then the downloaded data disappears and stops downloading.

I have tried signing out of itunes and soft resetting the devices as recommended by apple but the problem is not fixed. I have also rebooted the router turn it off and on and turned off QOS that I had set up.

With the same device on work internet apps update perfectly fine.

Others in the house are also complaining that the internet is very slow at times.

Problem solved

Ok, one glitch in the firmware lead to me finding the problem. Firstly there is a glitch in the asuswrt firmware that when you change a clients name in there profile the firmware crashes and you have to reset the router. This happened again so I reset the router. After the reset the apps downloaded. I then loaded up my saved settings and apps stopped downloading. I turned off qos and apps downloaded. Not sure why this didn't work when I was troubleshooting before and turned of Qos?

Anyway I would like to use Qos so I will have to troubleshoot to see if it is the way I set it up or a firmware glitch.
