I know it can do a mixture of jobs but I just wanted to clarify a couple of issues. So here would be the possible setup, I would have the Home Hub 5 on a ground floor then put the EA-AC87 on the first floor, so while it would then enable me to connect a number of devices via cable to the EA-AC87 then on to the Home Hub 5 (media bridge style) would it at the same time act as a range extender to any other wireless devices on this floor or floors above on both bands?
Oh the second part of this question is will a switch connected to the EA-AC87 still work ok? and will items connected to the EA-AC87 be able to directly deal with each other where required, for example would a computer connected via the other switch which is connected to the EA-AC87 be able to directly transfer off a NAS connected to the EA-AC87 without having to go to the Home Hub 5?
