Asus "ExpertWiFi" Phone App for PRO models

After upgrading to a RT-AX88U PRO model, the Asus Router Android phone app no longer connected. However, it now appear that the Asus ExpertWiFi app does connect to Asus routers running PRO Firmware versions 3.0.0.6.102_21XXX.

From what I can tell, the "Asus Router" app works if you are running 388 Firmware on AX88U-PRO. But if you are running Firmware versions 3.0.0.6.102_21XXX, the "Asus Router" app will NOT connect. Instead, Asus' "ExpertWiFi" app works (Android version updated on July 7th)..
