The answer is, yes. But there's no place/option to set it, So I guess it depends on the client.
From ASUS MLO documentation:
STR (Simultaneous Transmit and Receive):
This mode allows devices to manage multiple Wi-Fi connections on different channels or frequencies simultaneously.
For most phone devices currently, support 2GHz+ 5GHz only.

eMLSR (Enhanced Multi-Link-Single-Radio):
EMLSR mode focuses on optimizing the setup and recovery processes of multi-link operations.
It enhances the efficiency of establishing and maintaining multiple Wi-Fi connections, especially in environments where network conditions can change rapidly.

For MLO on ASUS routers, we support both modes, however, it will base on client devices supported modes.

Hi all ,
after about 48hrs of testing I found below scenario

1> MLO disabled but smartconnect enabled with one SSID or smartconnect disabled with 4 different SSID , wifi transmit power set to power saving mode , all working incl 6G-1 and 6G-2 . Actually in this scenario we can set any wifi transmit power.

2> smartconnect + MLO enabled with one MLO profile added and activated , wifi transmit power must be set to at least fair or higher , if I set transmit power to power saving mode within 3min all wifi getting disabled and wifi icon in router login page greyed out.

Wifi transmit power can be set from wifi professional tab.

Any one else checked this setting ?
I actually discovered this issue too, on accident. I was trying to force my MLO connection to use only 5ghz + 6ghz networks, not 2.4ghz, but with the stock Asus MLO config, it requires all 3 bands to create an MLO SSID. So I set the 2.4 radio signal strength to Power Saving mode from the Professional tab and boom, lost wifi on ALL SSIDs! Luckily I had a feeling that was the cause, so I hardwired in, set signal strength back to "Fair", and got all wifi back. Lesson learned, but still seems like it should work haha. Really hope they let us customize which bands to use in the near future!

Hello, I bought the RT-BE88U to complement the GT-BE98 in airmesh since I have areas where little coverage reaches me.

The question is that I wanted to test the mlo and what happened are 2 things: first, the node does not connect any device when usually there are at least 7, second, when trying to create a new pro net guest it tells me that the router is not compatible with MLO

Maybe the firmware is not ready for this? or is it not possible?
