Hello,

I currently have an Asus AC56 USB WiFi adapter, which has an annoying issue (randomly loses connection) with Windows 10 which has never been fixed. I have also tried the work around to install the realtek drivers, which still doesn't fix the drop outs.

Until I can get a cable installed, I was looking at the PCE-88 - but note that the last drivers issued from Asus were in 2018. Does this have any of the issues as with the AC56? I'm also assuming that it performs well.

For reference, my router is an RT-AC68u.

Thanks

I have been using the PCE-88 under Windows 10 for a couple of years. The only issue I have with it is that once in a while it doesn't wake up from sleep with the rest of the computer and I have to reboot to get it working again. I'd estimate that happens about once a month or so.

How do you find performance?

The top line is the PCE-88 about 35 feet away from the router through two walls. My internet is "only" 500 Mbps and the PCE-88 easily allows me to achieve those speeds on my desktop.
