ASUS Router RT-AC5300 Merlin firmware and Parental control not working

Dear Experts

I have ASUS Router RT-AC5300 with Merlin firmware as per the snapshots below

Configured access control as per the below but it is not blocking at @ those specific time

If you have NAT acceleration enabled it will vary a bit by a few minutes as the active sessions in the hardware accelerated bit can’t be killed real-time I believe.

I don't mind if there is a delay but it won't work at all for me

I’d still try disabling NAT acc first if you’ve not already. It definitely causes oddities in this feature.

The other thing to try is to reboot the router during the blocked time and see if it stops all connections then. Others I believe have reported they set a script to bounce the WAN at the start of the disabled period and that solved any issues with not blocking devices.

I will try your suggestions and see how it goes and I guess reboot might fix the issue.

Reason saying that I had the same issue with my other router LinkSys WRT 1900ACS with dd-wrt firmware,,,I had to reboot the router for the control access to work but I thought ASUS with Merlin shouldn't have the same issue !!!!
