New Around Here
I have a two location using ASUS AC1750 w/openvpn
Site 1 = 192.168.1.0
Site 2 = 192.168.2.0
VPN=10.8.0.0
Both routers have default VPN settings all I have done is upload the ovpn file to the opposite router and usernames and passwords. Server and client are connected on both sides.
I cannot ping anything on site 2 from site 1.
If I use openvpn client on a laptop I can get to both sites without a problem.

I need site 1 to access site 2.

I have done this exact setup in 5 other locations with no problem.

What am I missing?

Hi,

If your side2 acts as VPN server for something else make sure it uses a different subnet. SOmething differnt than default 10.8.0.0/24, otherwise there is dublicated route in the routing table which confuses the router and it doesn't know where to send the traffic.
