New Around Here
Firmware for the GT-AX6000 is at 3.0.0.6.102_21514-g9affda2_136-g5d23c
Note that when I first turned on the router when it was new out of the box, it wanted to do a firmware update immediately before letting me go any further. The firmware was updated at that point, but when I went to the firmware update screen, I had to update again to get it to the latest version. That was true on both GT-AX6000 units. After a reset to factory, it doesn't seem to check for firmware updates as it does when new out of the box. Is that done purposely so you can tell if you have a refurb or is AsusWRT just flakey firmware?
We'll see how long this lasts before going wonky again.
