Asus RT-87U dual wan USB 3g/4g work

Hi do any owners of Asus RT-87U have reliable function of dual wan with failover using USB 4g card? I have AC68U but the unattended failover has never really worked. i.e. can't failover and then fail back or reliably sustain the health of the 551l USB modem over days.

Is anything better with dual wan and failover in Asus RT-87U than it was in the 68U?

I would be interested also.
On my AC68 does not work the daily dail up with the usb modem.
I 've Solved it with a timeclock currently. Turns every 24 hours for 1 minute off the power. When reboot it works.

But is not the solution to permanently secure.

As I mentioned in the related thread, I did all the research. Dual WAN does indeed not work reliably on ASUS routers, at least not with 4G WANs. I ended up using a Peplink router for dual WAN failover and demoted the AC68U to Access Point mode since that is all it could do reliably for me. The Peplink performance and reliability is awesome by the way. The ASUS router feels like a toy electronic device now.
