Hope some posts here, to confirm those two are working for you.

I just have a simple home network. 3 hours uptime thus far, no issues and nothing in log. I’m seeing about 7 MB less ram being used. Prior firmware (10007) uptime was 22 days.

Ok, I just put my AC68 in mediabrige mode and everything works perfectly now!, and the problem with the "DST time zone changes ends" is repaired too, 10 month, 2nd SUN .... :)

That’s awesome my friend! :)

Maybe I spoke too fast, the problem came back after 30 min (no internet access in bridgemode). Rebooting solved the problem.
I keep an eye on that

Even though this firmware version shows up on the Asus support page for the AC1900P, the router does not find it. I download it, but there are no instructions on how to update from a file.
Is there a way to upgrade from a USB stick?

Of course. But then what?
There are no instructions how to get the file into the router...
Google is your friend -- simply Googled "asus firmware update router" to find the official FAQ:

The process basically has not changed other than the fact that you now have the ability to upload firmware to AiMesh nodes as well as the primary router.

Thanks, VISORTGW. I saw the upload file option under AIMESH Router, but I normally see a yellow flashing icon at the opt of the page when new firmware was available. This is not happening now. When clicking on: Firmware Version > Check Update > CHECK, a box appears saying: Firmware Update. But clicking on that does not load the new firmware.
After talking with Asus, they said I can use the Manual Firmware Upload (in the AiMesh router sections), to upload the file manually, even if not using it as a mesh router.

I think I will do nothing for now and wait for some posts regarding this new version.

Have you looked at the ASUS link @visortgw posted? There's a "Choose File" button on the image of Step 4.

Except Daylight Saving Time (DST) in most of the United States starts on the 2nd Sunday in March and ends on the 1st Sunday in November (11). So still wrong.

Its interesting that they get this wrong. Seems pretty easy to implement correctly.

Why is the latest FW not on Asus FW distribution servers such that the AC1900P router can find it?

Hi dieter,

I'm not sure. I checked for the update in the router and it wasn’t there. At the link above, choose “Others” from drop down tab and it’s there.
