New Around Here
Hey folks, I am in the market for a new router and kind of want to get the best bang for my buck. Range is what I'm mostly after. I regularly use 2 hardwired computers, a wireless laptop, 2 phones and a tablet.

My house is small but long...

Anyway...thoughts?

Thanks!

Damon

Or do I just skip AC and get an N?

I have no AC devices. Two Galaxy S3s, a Nexus 7 and a laptop with N and a Roku 3. :)

I'd skip 11ac.
Use 11n, 20MHz mode.
Perhaps an Access Point if two-story and/or large.

If not a slab house, connect the Access Point via cat5 in the crawl space/basement.
Or attic.
Or via HomePlug power line
Or via MoCA
