Hope someone can help with finding an solution to my problem. If it is the router's fault.

I have a ppoe connection from my ISP and for some reason the connection is lost when public IP address cannot be given.

I contacted them and said they could see issues but could not pinpoint at this moment. I am unclear if he did setup an static IP in place to see if it solved the problem.

Here is a short log of what is going on: http://pastebin.com/gKPB5g41
If you need more information please say so and I will provide it.

Build: 3.0.0.4.374.39_0

Have these losses always been?
Did your ISP change someting on their end and/or did you get a new modem?
Did you change your cabling or update firmware?

Always been since I joined them.

Changed firmware several times but the problem persisted.
I am not using their modem/router combo.

Using my own modem. Dlink DSL 320B

Have you searched the dlink support forums? It's likely on this end.
Also there are some threads in other forums on smallnetbuilder.com that discuss similar disconnection problems over ppoe.

The D-link is just a bridge and should be the router handling the connection.
