New Around Here
Hi Folks,

I hope you all are doing fine after Christmas!
I have a question with regards to my AC68U router running Merlin 380.57. It simply won't OC.

What I have done is I tried both SSH and Telnet (just to be sure) to log on, and entered the well known nvram set clkfreq and commit commands (with 1000,666; 1000,800; 1200,666 and 1200,800), but the proc/cpuinfo keeps saying it does about 1599 bogoMIPS. When I enter get clkfreq, it does say the new (OC) values are active (same goes for the tools page in the web interface), but I assume it is not?

When I reboot the router, it doesn't keep the higher OC values either. I noticed a lot of people on this forum were talking about the administration --> Performance tuning page, where they found settings for the LED button on the back, but mine only shows the temperature graph. I tried to reset everything to default and to re-install the Merlin firmware, but that did not help either.

Can someone tell me what is going on, or how to fix it?

info:
Asus RT-AC68U
Merlin Firmware 380.57
CFE Bootloader 1.0.2.0
EU (Netherlands) market (not sure if there are different HW versions for different markets)

Thanks!
