Hey SNB community,
New to the forum, but not new to wireless routers. Two years ago got the Linksys EA4500 (N900) and hooked up a external hard drive to share on the network to stream video files. The files got corrupt (changed to empty folders) so I stop using the hard drive feature. The wifi signal for my house worked, but lately it has been very slow. Looking to update to a more robust router. I know that I want to get an Asus since they have lots of user options.
Now the question is to get the RT-AC87 or wait till RT-AC3200 comes out?
My purpose is mostly to connect multiple devices, ie: laptops, tablets, cell phones, tv's, blu-ray players and printers to have internet access and share a hard drive to stream videos with out corrupting the files.
Thanks for all your help and advice!
