Hi,

i spent a whole night struggling with my new Asus RT-AC87U and a Twonky Media Server connected to it. With a Samsung HU7200 LCD as client hardware the navigation seems nearly impossible. Going into folders took several seconds and often the tv jumps back to main menu because of a network error. Absolutely same behaviour with the integrated ASUS media server.

I tried disabling several settings on the Asus RT-AC87U and finally found out that "NAT Acceleration" is the one to blame. With this setting disabled DLNA folder navigation works like before, within miliseconds.

Is this a known bug?

I was totally wrong, the DLNA (and many more) problems are related to the 5 ghz band. Seems like the tv and the ASUS doesn´t like each other :-(

I would start doing a factory reset, then setup the minimal config to run and access DLNA server.
