asus rt-ac88u bricked ?

Ok heres my problem i tried flashing newer firmware to the router and it even showed up it was working but passwords were not working when i set them so i reset it and now all i get is a solid power light. Cant ping or get it to do anything else at all tried 30-30-30 tried holding wps only light i see is power light and it wont flash or anything just stay solid. I own a rt-n66 i never ever had it get where it wouldnt make it into recovery im running out of ideas.

yes i have tells me its not in recovery mode. I orderd a serial cable to maybe try to fix it thru that route.

I got my router to work finaly but the 5ghz band wont show up in ddwrt,stock or merlins firmware.

can u tell me how did you unbricked ur asus rt-88u.
i have the same issue ,only power led on.
did u fix it with a serial cable ?
and how ?
