Looks like another release, but only one build # higher 23925 vs 23924...

Note: These release notes are identical to the 23924 (Sep 7th) release, except the previously one ALSO listed: "Fixed CVE-2023-32643,CVE-2021-27218, CVE-2023-38031, CVE-2023-38032, CVE-2023-38033,CVE-2023-39236,CVE-2023-39237,CVE-2023-39238,CVE-2023-39239,CVE-2023-39240". This one does not.

So I'm not exactly sure what is going on...

Also listing both models here... (not sure if you can install a RT-AX58U firmware on the AX3000 and vice versa...?)

I tried updating my AX3000 to 23925 this morning. After multiple router reboots on its own, I'm back on 23924. Curious if others have issues...

Also new here but the forum has been very helpful over the years. Thanks!

23924 has been a disaster for me, running out of memory every few days and crashing. 23925 does not show up on the website for the AX3000. Where are you finding it?

Guess I have a weird link... I found it here.

But if I switch back the US website, it is still the 23924.

I've been running 23924 for about 2 weeks, I am not running into any issues on it. But I have a relatively simple setup (no mesh, etc.)

(I have not installed 23925 yet...)

Interesting...thought it is not on the US website, my router is offering the upgrade through its GUI.

The ASUS app and my router login were showing it available this morning.

I haven't had any issues with 23924.

Installing using the phone app or the gui directly was giving me "couldn't connect to Asus servers" all day. Manually downloading the firmware and updating worked.

It seemed our firmware auto-upgraded to 23925 overnight, and we were dealing with constant reboots all day. After contacting our ISP, we were able to narrow down the issue to the router and downgrading to 23556 seems to have fixed the issue (for now). Hopefully ASUS can sort this out soon, but for the time being auto-update will be kept off.

Yesterday I saw the notification of version 2935 and have tried to complete the upgrade multiple times from 23924. Every time (both manually updating and using the in-app/web GUI) I get a failure. This morning the unit seemed to be stuck in a reboot loop maybe because I had the auto-update feature turned on? Turned this off for now until the problem gets resolved and I can update successfully.

There is something flakey with the last two updates every since the ddns started reporting on the hour that the ip hasn't changed. Random claims of lost wan then a crash. It recovers most of the time on it's own but sometimes I have to turn the ddns off and back on manually to get it working again. I'm considering reverting to an old version as well.

V1 hardware.

I have not updated from 23924, but sounds like I should NOT do this upgrade... Interesting that this router seems to be one of very few getting updates recently.

Has anyone noticed version 23924 has magically (?) disappeared from all the Asus websites.

What I find weird that I can't upgrade 2 different RT-AX58U nodes to 23925 from 23924 using the built-in firmware upgrade option. They run through the upgrade process like they are upgrading but once they reboot, they still show 23924

Had the same issue. Had to manually upgrade using the downloaded file for it to take.

I have installed 23925 over 23924 via downloaded file. No issues to report at this time.

Updated my v2 from 23924 through the web UI few days ago - no reboot issues and my custom scripts still run correctly.
Using only device's core functions, no AiProtection or VPN.

I have an AX3000 and a AX58U, both running as nodes on an AI Mesh. I updated to 23925 through phone app with no issues. Everything seems to be running fine so far. I'm not sure what HW version I have.
