I am planning to increase home coverage with another ASUS router in AP mode.

I have seen this review

In min 25 you can see RF frontend is worse in RT-AX55 than RT-AX57

These are RF frontend. AX55 uses KTC8239S and AX57 RTC76470O
RT-AX55 uses BCM6755 and RT-AX57 uses BCM6756
I think these Cpu,s are similar but what about RF chips???

BEST BUDGET ASUS Router for working in AP MODE?????

The same hardware with unlocked 160MHz on 5GHz band.

So if RT-AX57 is 10 euro over RT-AX55 should i pay for it. I have to buy two units. RF frontend are not the same but this is not important???

I can't give you an opinion on which one to buy. I personally will never buy an ugly AIO home router with sticking out antennas and hanging off the wall power adapter for AP use. Business class APs with native VLAN support and PoE powered in AX1800/AX3000 class are available under €100. Multiple options in wall plate, ceiling or outdoor form.
