Unfortunately, after upgrading still experiencing latency spikes and packet losses every 10 minutes when using the Geforce Now service, regardless of whether connected over WiFi or Ethernet. Replacing the router with Broadcom-based model or connecting directly to the cable modem fixes the issue entirely.

Resetting the router or playing with various settings does not help, it looks like some job is run on the router on a scheduled basis that periodically disrupts the connection. Annoying , to say the least.

Hey guys, I am a Japanese RT-AX59U user living in Japan.

It was on the initial firmware ”3.0.0.4.388_31948” ever since I bought it, but recently I updated it to the latest firmware ”3.0.0.4.388_33392” because I started experiencing an event where only iOS cannot connect to Wi-Fi in the 5Ghz band.

It seems that when there is some problem with Wi-Fi in the 5Ghz band, the CPU utilization of one of the CPU cores is at 100%.

So far so good since I got the latest firmware.
However, it seems to be a good idea to reboot the router regularly, once a week.

Thanks for the advice, I will do it too.
