The main part I was asking about were the bug fixes. Just wondered if anyone had seen any other issues they were having resolved along with the security fixes.

Referring to this line here: "Bug Fixes and Enhancements:"
That is just a list title with the details in the numbered list that follows.

Had to DL the file and manually install, as for a second time my router failed to connect to Asus etc... (Happened once before with an earlier FW version too after some time...)
Now it again connects nicely to Asus to look for updated FW-version.

I've had the occasional "failed to contact update server" message. For me, it usually works again next try, or within an hour or two. Either way, glad you got your router updated, and it's working now.

yeah... been confusing as this was the second firmware version it happened to ... and once it began telling me the "failed to contact update server" message it didn't start to rework before I installed manually a newer FW version...
First time was real bummer as it was long time before I noticed this... This time have been past couple of months almost weekly looking to Asus support site to see if new FW has arrived.

For my part, just fetched today my order of the Asus RT-BE88U -- so will hopefully tomorrow be replacing the house router

You are adding confusion to the incorrect information in post #6.

I trust version 3.0.0.4.388_24323 (2024/11/28) will be posted soon for both flavors of the AX86U/S.

Patience!

Thanks for the report! I did not investigate... and know that online documentation can mysteriously change/improve in a blink of the eye... or page refresh. :)

Understood, I am a total noob yet an update junkie so I had to triple-check 🫣

Anyone reading/re-reading readme/release notes is no noob! :)

Updated, so far so good. 160hz is staying locked in, so happy they didn't screw that one up...I still have it manually channel locked away from the least intereference and it's holding 160hz about 24 hours in now.

Hello.

Please provide a screenshot of the AiCloud 2.0 tab in the latest software. I am interested in how many tabs there are, in the May software there were 5.

I am asking because I have upgraded to a newer model which only has 3 tabs and does not have a Dropbox drive synchronization tab.

I am wondering if this is a change in the latest software due to hacks into ASUS routers or if the problem only affects the latest model.
