ASUS RT-AX86U High Ping on Gaming 2

Hello Everyone, had to come ask how to fix my router high ping problem again after a years, it when will after the last setup you guys taught me here but after a year i reset my router and update the firmware, my router go high ping again.

The setting i was following before setup but it don't get the ping down anymore.
- already set IPV6
- turn off QOS
- i turn on AI protection but even if i turn off it don't effect the ping.
- contact ISP but they keep telling my network is fine.

can anyone help guide me through this, cause i have no knowledge on why my networks going so wrong this day.

Looking at the previous conversations - you are in Malaysia. You may not be able to get low ping to servers in Europe over 10K km away no matter what you do on your end. Also test with both IPv4 and IPv6. The ISP may offer and route IPv6 in different ways.

Hello @Tech9, Yeah i am from malaysia, but i am playing at singapore server and alot of player within are from asian, their ping are very stable around 20m - 50m. only me had over 120 ++ ping somehow. i keep feeling is my router setup problem but i cant tell what set off.

how you know it was Europe server ?

I see, so is not my router problem ?? it happen on the game server it self ? is there anything i could low it down somehow.

There may be something a little odd going on with the server. From the North East of the UK the last entry for tracert commands are:
tracert -4: 15 36 ms 18 ms 20 ms reserved.transip.nl [37.97.254.27]
tracert -6: 15 114 ms 101 ms 100 ms reserved.transip.nl [2a01:7c8:3:1337::27]
It's still going to be higher from your location and a sustained connection may well differ, but that's quite a difference in latency!

as you can see the destination server is part of transip (dutch hosting provider )

@Crimliar @robinjoo1 so it all happen on the game server it self ? why do all the asian player within had no problem.

check this out guys, player inside all had normal ping but i am the only one had 721 crazy ping.
