I have the same issue and its the cable being used. I moved the tv onto wireless to get more bandwidth and might think about replacing the cable if any buffering occurs.
Ok so here's an update. This doesn't look like a GUI bug.
Previous I didn't think to expand the Asus app port status. But here I can see that Asus app says the WAN and LAN1 are Green but connected at 0 Mbps.
Then I swapped AX88U and AX92U.
The issue follows AX92U.
I updated firmware and factory reset AX92U.
After all this, I'm still getting the same port error on web interface and Asus app.
At this point, I can see that the issue is with AX92U but now I need to further diagnose to fix this annoyance.
Any suggestions?
Yea I did... looked clean but I cleaned them anyway. All ports are giving the same error - so it was unlikely to be the case but worth a try anywayThe first advice would be to clean Ethernet ports and contacts and try different trusted Ethernet cables. You may be beyond this(?)
Tried multiple times, no luck. Then Hard Reset, configure minimally, and test again. You may be beyond this and/or don't want to Hard Reset your main router, too(?)
I tried older firmwares but still the same issue.Maybe you could Hard Reset the AX92U and set it up as a standalone main router only and test only it again. If the port status is still not right, I'd be inclined to suspect the AX92U hardware, assuming reverting to earlier firmware to test what use to work(?) is not worth the trouble.
Feel like everything is working as intended. Clients are connecting to this mesh node, and I can see traffic on these clients. It you believe all is working well enough despite the port status, you could choose to ignore it. If it is a hardware issue, I would expect it to get worse eventually, as they tend to do.
There is no functional issue that warrants an upgrade. So no...while bugs like yours seem rare, have you considered an upgrade?
