Until the Wizard Merlin has a firmware out for it I would not even think about it. But that's just me and I just bought an 86 a month or so ago.I was just about to upgrade to the RT-AC86U should i just hold out for the RT-AX88U (AX6000)

There are not enough 802.11ad clients to stimulate demand for 802.11ac in routers. At this point it is dead technology.why did they skip ad in between
i know its very limited featured wireless but giga wifi is capable of good wireless trasnfer if two client holds that tech
