Its still bad my end - I have turned off the paired mesh router and it works perfectly.
The issue seems to be with the mesh system my end. i'm going to keep my mesh off until a fix is found
I reloaded the latest firmware and factory reset.
I've not tested for days on end, but it seemed to solve my issue on the red WAN light.
