Does anyone know if 3.0.0.4.334 fixes the "LAN timeout: Qidx(0), not enough space in MgmtRing, MgmtRingFullCount" issues?

I just updated from old 1.0.1.4 to the beta .321.
I'm very happy so far. My 5ghz performance is slightly improved, which is a Godsend. My iphone 5 actually seems to be working nicely with it now. It was terrible before. Also my ping on wifi is so much lower now.

Should I update again to the latest beta .334? Is it better than .321?

.334 is no longer in beta. You can download it from here.

Enjoy!

DDNS failure

Now I am on .334 (coming from .318), I keep getting DDNS failure messages. I use the ASUS DDNS.

I got errors before, but they went away. Now I have a consistent yellow exclamation mark on router homepage after "myname.asuscomm.com". Clicking the mark produces a blank box that seems like it should have a message in it.

The messages I get from the DDNS page itself are either a server non-response, or "The domain name 'myname.asuscomm.com" is registered".

Anyone else got the yellow mark on the homepage? My IP hasn't changed recently so the domain still works, for now.

I don't use DDNS, media server, or VPN, just use it as a router and for wireless. All good here for about a day now. Everything running fine. I'm very happy so far. Next milestone is a week *smile*.

Looks like an IPv6 bug...but everything is still cool with the router, it didn't miss a beat, and is still working well. But a bug was apparently encountered. Hope that the stack trace will be useful to someone with the source code for .334 in hand.

FYI, I also have mailed the stack trace to Jeremy at Asus.

Everything works for me except for wireless PS3 connectivity. It's been broken since .318 and I've been trying all sorts of tricks to get it working, all of them leading to more frustration.

I really hope that this new firmware release fixes the intermittent high ping/latency issues.

It hasn't. It was working fine last night when I upgraded but now it's terrible. I'm going back to the old 1.0.8.x.j version - provided the fastest downloads and the most stable.

I got that 2 days in a row in my log.

Finally right before i went to bed tonight i noticed my wifi was not working. I was connected but no internet. This damn error again.

I downgraded back to 1.0.1.4. I don't have time for this crap. a million firmwares later and asus can't make a stable version with all the features working correctly.

Can anyone tell me how this magical version .206 is that everyone praises? does it suffer from this error, or wifi disconnects?

My iphone 5 is back to terrible wifi connection!

334 seems ok

I must admit that I'm not a heavy "feature" user like some of you folks, but 334 seems ok to me. I'm running 2.4 and 5 devices, along with a USB printer and drive. No other fancy stuff! So far, so good.

Hi cdbma !

And what about media server ? Do you use it ? Is it running well ?

Thanks,

Very 1st post of this thread, on the 8/12 update.

I've had no problems with that firmware in any areas including:
2.4 and 5 Ghz WiFi Connection
Media Server
VPN
Wake on LAN (and from VPN)
XBOX Live
Netflix (via PS3)

Again, those are all working perfectly with the Beta Version 3.0.0.4_206 firmware.

Do you have a link for the .206 firmware? I don't know where to find it

I have had to reboot my router about 5 times over the past few days since updating to .334.

I was fine with.321 last week so I am back to that on both of my routers
