@K-2SO it is not a USB 2.0 limitation as he already states he gets 530Mbps normally.

It's a known behavior. Had to deal with it in the past. It starts as USB 3.0 then drops to USB 2.0. USB-AC68 is Realtek based. Old Realtek based ~2015. Native Realtek drivers have USB SF Mode and USB Switch Mode to deal with bus speed change. Realtek uses something called smart switching. Not really smart. Not smart at all with more than one device on the same controller.

@Sachb why do you have WPA/WPA2 selected? Can you select just WPA2? :)

Native or newer drives may work better, but it doesn't seem they do in this case?

That's the only option on my D-link 882 router.
Can't force WPA2 AES. I have requested this feature on Dlink forums to add WPA2 and AES only.
