ASUS - ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro / BE30000 - channels of the two 6GHz bands

Hi!

I am considering buying the BQ16 Pro but will move to a new country where only the lower 6GHz channels are allowed.
Is it possible to tell the BQ16 Pro to use only the lower channels on both 6GHz bands or is it hardcoded in a way that 6GHz-1 will only use the lower channels (up to 6425Mhz) and 6 GHz-2 will only use the higher channels (up to 7125Mhz)?
I will use it exclusivly with ethernet backhaul. Difference to the non pro model would be two 6Ghz bands and less issues with the neighbours 5ghz wifi.

this may or may not help. I don't have a Pro but have the Europe non Pro version, I looked into this as when the BQ16 first launched as it was US only and i was looking into having it shipped, your right in Europe (mostly) the Lower 6 GHz range is legal but the mid/upper is being ratified. If you took a Pro device to Europe, then the upper/middle 6 GHz range is not legal. (The BQ16 Pro has 6 GHz-1 and 6 GHz-2 representative of these). I ended not buying the Pro and I've not moved a device from US to Europe, a friend of mine did but it wasn't an Asus and basically the device auto disabled the upper range.

Your trade-off is buying the Pro device (likely loose the upper range to be compliant) when you move it to Europe or similar location, either through Auto or you can disable a band on the Pro anyway..... or buy a non Pro which will only have the lower Band 6 GHz
