Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 BQ16 Pro 2.4Ghz Wireless Mode

Running the latest Firmware.

Not seeing any options other than "Auto" in the Advanced/Wireless/Professional/2.4GHz Radio/Wireless Mode dropdown.

I typically select "N-Only"

Did it disappear in the latest version?

Does the b/g Protection and Disable 11b effectively lock it to N-Only?

I noticed that @Solar Trekker had it in one of his screenshots here in this post (older firmware):

... also... can't seem to get it to respect/save the check boxes in Wireless Mode:

Un-check BOTH boxes

Apply Settings

b/g Protection checks itself again

Sorry I wasn't able to answer all your questions on the other forum...

AUTO is the only choice on the BE98 Pro also.

Gonna have to leave the check boxes and reboots to others. (Too scared to touch them)...

That's actually good to know, thank you!

Haaa... I don't blame you one bit! I'm definitely going to hold off naming other Client Devices. I have 80+- in all and can't imagine it forcing a reboot on every couple name changes

I heard back from Asus Tech Support Today:

"Upon confirmation, the newer firmware versions for the latest models (version 3.0.0.6.102_35404 and beyond) have removed the N-only and Legacy mode settings due to design considerations."
