ASUS ZenWiFi BT8P - Supported?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I wanted to find out if it's possible to flash my newly purchased ZenWiFi BT8 with the Merlin firmware. Unfortunately I didn't do enough research to know that there's some limitations to Asuswrt VPN. It seems like I have to use Merlin in order to utilize Shadowsocks etc. However, I couldn't find information about my router on the Merlin website nor in this forum.

Not all Asus routers have Melin firmware available for them. I believe your BT8 is one that doesn't. You'll probably need to swap your router for one that will work with shadowsocks, or use an intermediate device to run the VPN client.
