That's great to hear, thanks!! I read somewhere else that Asus dropped these plans, but your link is much more recent so that's good hope!
I did hear they dropped the vlan support (physical interface), but the will support Guest Network pro. You can assign a vlan to the physical interfaces with the beta, but that will go away when it release.

They dropped VLAN? I'm using VLAN here in The Netherlands... hmmm not good news.

I'm not satisfied with this new firmware btw. Wi-Fi signal seems weaker and my iPhone drops it's 6E connection very often, did not have any problems with the previous version.

Reg dropped VLAN support I suppose it's just a rumors. The VLAN by itself is a prt of 106 branch. We'll never know until 106 branch appears on et12. We'll, at least I hope it will. So the only thing has left: just wait.

I had a lengthy support case with ASUS and they told me that VLAN support will not be included because of stability/interop issues. I personally was using the beta on one of my ET12's and assigned a vlan to an interface, which ended up failing. Don't know if they are related, but nonetheless, I got it RMA'd. You never know though. That was 6+ months ago, maybe they've fixed stability issues since then. Here's to hoping once it releases.

My ring doorbell no longer connects after this update. Did a full reset of the doorbell with the same result. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Nope, dirty update from previous version. All good. Try to set "Protected Management Frames" to "Capable". If "Enabled" then my robot vacuum do not connect, with "Capable" it connects.

Main is a GT-AXE16000 with last firmware. One node is GT-AXE16000 and one node is ET12 pro.
Node loses wifi when in auto connect mode.
Ai-mesh is not working properly. When in ethernet mode everything is OK.
Rolled back to 23013 version as it works properly (24585 has the problem also) when in auto because I have other nodes connected wirelessly.
Exactly same problem appears in GT-AXE16000 as a node with last firmware ( had to roll back 3 versions for the node) .
Something is definetely not working properly in AI-mesh.
