Looks like a purely security update that Asus has released for all recent routers.

Any feedback on how it works for XT12s?

I'm running the new version into my AiMesh node, and no issues so far. In the main node I'm running Asuswrt Merlin, due to the extra features it has. Looking forward to hearing about the firmware being used to run the main node, though.

I tried to upgrade manually to this version, but for some reason only my AiMesh node would upgrade..

@Tulio Lazarini what version of Merlin are you running with your main? I'm a little noob when it comes to merlin firmwares.

Hello @thestufford I was running Merlin 3004.388.8.4 (download from official repo). There is a particularly annoying issue around AIMesh when running Merlin firmware, because all about AIMesh is Asus' proprietary code and its binaries are manually merged into the custom, open-source code. As the node was running 3006 branch (stock fw) and the master router was running 3004 Merlin fw, I was experiencing frequent AIMesh node drops and network instability. Therefore I had factory-resetted everything and reflashed with the 3006 firmware from Asus. I've lost some good extra Merlin features, but got rock-solid AIMesh.

Hopefully the 3006 branch will come to Merlin's hands and I'll be able to go back to it, eventually. Cheers.

I just did this upgrade on my XT12.
Now I saw that my Xiaomi hubs are offline and cannot connect to internet. Tried repairing but no luck.
I went in to the router settings and see both of the hubbs in the client list. On one of them I just tried turning on "MAC and IP Address Binding", after doing that it has disappeared from the client list... what happened to it? :)
Did any of the security updates in the SW update block the Xiaomi hubs?
The hubs are old, think it is like Xiaomi first gen.
