Asustor AS-202TE vs Thecus N2560 Vs Other Nas

Hi,
I am looking at purchasing my first NAS drive. I am looking for a 2 bay nas with raid, good performance and ability to access files remotely from abroad and download/upload from abroad aswell. I have been looking at the asustor as-202te but have struggled to find any reviews with benchmarks anywhere on the web so was wondering if anyone had seen a review or owns one and is able to comment themselves?

I was also considering the Thecus N2560 when this becomes available but again not sure how this compares to the above. If anyone had any alternative suggestions for NAS drives in this price range they would be highly appreciated.

I can say that I did over-kill due-diligence (being a tightwad engineer).
It came down to Synology vs. QNAP. Almost a toss-up.
I went Synology, small 2 drive. Very happy, many months later.

My philosophy was to choose one of the NAS specialist companies rather than a generalist.

Remote access will of course be limited by your ISP's upload speeds.
