So, a bit confused.. is the issue with auto reboot happens whether I use the GUI of SSH script?
For me, the reboot is always fine using either the GUI reboot at the top of the page or the command line via SSH. The USB umount error I mentioned above occurs using the Administration > System - Basic Config - Enable Reboot Scheduler.

oh ok.. but the link Ghammer provided, they are talking about issues with the router powering off.

Yes, that is the AC86U will randomly shutdown completely as if a "halt" command was issued when the command was actually "reboot". I get it on my AC86U as well, it is completely random, sigh...

so it wouldn't affect the AC68P? - I thought both models use the same firmware version.

I don't know, I don't have a AC69P, and I don't recall seeing posts about it. Since I do not have one, I don't follow 68P issues closely like I do general ASUS-wrt routers and AC86U posts. I do know that the actual files you flash are different, using different files extensions, .w (86) vs .trx (68).

on a separate note.. how can I get notified of a new update once it comes out?
I've seen in the GUI that it can alert me when a beta is available, but I haven't seen the option to get notified when a stable update is available.

They are right together on my 86U.
