I'm reading here, that the RT-AX86U supports openvpn client tunnels with the stock firmware:

VPN Client OVPN : Yes

Does the stock firmware also support an Internet killswitch (when the VPN connection drops)?

My goal is to stick with the latest stock Asus firmware on this router, but I need the Internet killswitch feature.

i realized that also on 386.4 and AX88U router, killswitch doesn't work anymore....

When i disconnect VPN, all those 4x Clients in VPN Director switch to Local Provider IP and Internet works just fine.

Where can i check / what to set? before in older FW was fine what i can remember.

Router is after fresh Factory Reset and reflashed FW

This has nothing to do with this thread which was a question about stock Asus firmware.

so should i open new one ? :) similar topic i guess....
It's a completely different topic. This is not the Merlin sub-forum. VPN Director is only available in Merlin's firmware.

You can post in the Merlin sub-forum if you want but your previous posts said that almost nothing was working properly on your router. There's no point trying to diagnose a killswitch problem when you've got a non-working router.
