New Around Here
I bought a new Asus ax86 router. When i plugged it in everything is working on the WiFi side of things 400mps speed (1gb isp) but for some reason my lan ports are capped it 100 mps. When I connect my computer wired to modem I get full speed 940 download/40up but through the router I get 80mps/40up. Qos is off. Ai protection off. Basically everything is off that can Hinder the connection but still can't get higher speed on lan. One thing I did do is use old SSID in initial setup. Could that be problem? Please help.
I'm using cat7 wired. Tried many different wires no luck.
I'm thinking of hard resetting everything even modem but that the final straw. Ply help

Try using certified Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a cable to test with instead. Cat7 can be anything the manufacturer dreams up (no specs, not a real category today).

What does system status show for the ports?
Main page right side click on status to see what the port speeds show.
Thought Cat 7 had a different connector.
