AXE16000 connected but without internet

Hi,

I have my new ISP with 2Gbps internet for around 3 weeks now, and everytime I do some changes on my Asus, ISP's Nokia loose internet. I set static IP on my Asus WAN and configure everything so I really don't know what's going on.

My question is does anyone who have AXE16000 in wireless mode behind ISP's router experience same problems maybe ?

I tested today on my AX88U and I change on it a lot of thing and even reboot and no problem there, everything is working after reboot. On AXE16000 if I reboot that router, no internet. Could it be that AXE16000 is bad ?

Have you tested another port?

I have only one 2.5Gbps port on ISP Nokia router others are 1Gbps, and I tried AX88U on that same port, and there was no problem.
I meant the alternative WAN port on the AXE16000, but if you don't have one......

There is only one WAN port on it 2.5Gbps.

I think AXE16000 is not working properly I will return it and get me some new Asus BE98 maybe, and test with that one hopefully it will work without issues.

Didn't see that nothing is written on the back of the router that 10gbps port is also WAN, strange...

I tried on 10Gbps (1) port same thing. I lost internet on ISP router. Just by changing 4/5G mobile teethering to Off and when changes apply no internet I need to pull plug from my ISP router and connect it again for it to reset because If I turn it Off and On again on switch usually it don't make any changes, only when I unplugg it.

It's well known that Asus' dual wan has it's problems. Only way around that is to use Merlin with the dual wan add-on.

AX88U also have dual WAN, and I don't have problems with it.

BE98 is on it's way, I will test it when it comes if that one have same problem as AXE16000.
