something indeed going on with the 86u

This is my conclusion as well, perhaps chipset/drivers related issue. My Brother printer plays well with any other 2.4GHz AP, but not AC86U.

dont understand, if iam close to the AP node, full bars, when i walk away with the robot cleaner i my hand, when i am like 10 meters away i see the wifi signal dropping

10 Meters is 33 feet yes it's going to start dropping in signal. On top of that i can only assume with a wifi vacume it has the cheapest wifi card available.

It's worse then dropping, a lot of timeouts too if a do a ping, when timeouts occure, i can't operate it with the app...

Other devices on same place , don't have the issue... It's indeed an issue with device itself or with the 86u
