Hi all,
I was just wondering the following: A general recommendation for improving the router's connection reliability is to disable Beamforming. Now the RT-AC87 has two separate Beamforming options; for 5G those are "802.11ac Beamforming" (explicit) and "Universal Beamforming" (implicit).
Do you know whether both of these options influence the wi-fi stability or only one of them? I'm wondering if it would be possible to leave e.g. Universal Beamforming enabled, while disabling 802.11ac Beamforming and to still have a reliable connection - or the other way around for that matter.
Has anyone performed any tests regarding that?
