I read that the sale of Linksys to Belkin was finalized today.
I guess Cisco just couldn't get their usual giant gross margins out of Linksys.

Well, Belkin has, for years, done a good job of using quality designs. They don't have the consumer awareness and reputation though.

There's nothing to worry about with the sale of Linksys to Belkin. I have used Belkin wireless products and always found them to be high quality and well supported including features that other manufacturers charged a lot more for or only made available in a specialized product.

One of the most stable routers I've ever used is a Belkin N300. In fact my parents are still using it. 2nd only behind my Zyxel P-330W.

Funny the FCC rated the Belkin N300 with internal antennas the worst router they ever tested.

What model was it? They made more than one.

The one I have is several years old, maybe 6 or more. I'm not sure what model number it is because it's at my parents' house as I mentioned.

Why are you guys posting trash talk in this old thread? Closing thread.
