I'm still struggling between Synology and Qnap as to which product I'm going to plump for. From what i can see, having compared numerous models from both manufacturers the Synology seems better value for money with similar spec machines for around £100 less at each step up the ladder.
Qnap offers the hot swap drives and extra e-sata and lan ports, but that seems the only benefits for the extra £100. The big deciding factor for me when choosing could come down to the interface, is one better than the other?
