I was wondering if I could get some advice on what router has the most functional QOS services. I am looking to make sure a small office network has good routing, fast throughput and prioritizes the VoIP traffic... thanks in advance
I recommend, for consumer cost range, a router with port based QoS. That's where the packet priority is based on the ethernet port of the router (where the VoIP ATA is connected) not the protocol, since protocol types/rules are not well defined in consumer VoIP.I was wondering if I could get some advice on what router has the most functional QOS services.
