I just did a lot of research on VPN providers and settled on what I believe was a good one. It didn't check every last box, but it was a choice between a final selection of 2.
Objective research was hard to come by, but I found seriously good and objective info on how to choose a vpn, well written reviews and an excel spread sheet with the features from numerous vpns, color coded.
