New Around Here
Hi All,

I have a device in my lan (Samsung TV) which is accessing the update server. I have disabled the Auto-Update feature on the TV but reading in Samygo forum they also recommend to block access on the router level.

Of course, I can use the URL/Keyword feature in the router, I tried it once and it indeed worked well.

But my problem is what of the keywords is cloudfront which is Amazon's CDN and from time to time I have other device that need access to the cloudfront.

Is there anyway to deny access from my TV only to cloudfront (and the other 4 domains that I need to block)?

Thanks in advance,
MC.

I think I figured that out:

iptables -I FORWARD -d <URL/IP to block> -s <TV IP> -j DROP

Will try it out.

MC
