Using firmware:3.0.0.4.372.30_2 on my RT-AC66u. On a computer connected via wired gigE directly to the RT-AC66U switch, I updated the power level of the 5gHz connection. Once it was done, it redirected me to http://192.168.1.1/SaveRestart.asp with the (strangely-formatted) message "Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.
Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC66U.
To access the settings of RT-AC66U, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number."

Anyway, that doesn't seem really appropriate, given that I am not connected to the wireless network and there was no change to any IP address or port number. I do not recall seeing this in the older .270 firmware.

This new offline error page was added by Asus in 354. I agree that half of the time it's somewhat misleading. I'm going to let Asus finetune it for a bit, and if it doesn't improve I will most likely simply remove it.

I have the same problem i had to factory reset the router and now its working.

It occurred after i changed my optimum online modem to a new with the 50/15mbps upgrade.
