What (if anything) are the advantages and disadvantages of "binding" your multiple Asus devices to an Asus account?
If an isolated (single purpose) email address is used and not some social media account or other identifying mechanism, what are the security implications of binding multiple Asus devices to the Asus account?

Any time you do this, its a trade-off between the information on yourself you are giving a company, and what you receive in return. Registering your devices can help you get better, quicker, more complete support, and provided your email accounts are secure, thats all! Using some of the Asus "helper" apps can be a bit more problematic, with one of them requiring that routers enable WAN access in a manner that has led to the devices potentially being compromised!
*Most of the regulars on forums such as this, manage to remain security conscious without being paranoid! Paranoia, too often leads to poor decisions, which can lead to devices being compromised!
