New Around Here
I’m running three BQ16 pro satellites. There was no firmware updates, one day one just stopped working and showed as disconnected. I removed it from the AI Mesh and was going to reconnect it after a hard reset. The device will not hard reset, I unplug it and it flashes green and then pulses between white and purple/pink. After a few minutes it cycles back to green and then white/purple again. I’m not sure how to hard reset it at this point. I’ve tried the soft reset using WPS button and it never flashes yellow on the hard reset attempt pressing the reset button. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I’m having the same issue. Cannot get it to do a hard reset. Every time the LED is green for a bit, then pulses magenta and white. This color pattern doesn’t match anything in the manual/website.

Did you have any luck solving this?

Any idea if there is a list of “error code” led colors somewhere?

Try pressing/holding it for about 30 seconds...

Thanks! I tried this, assuming you mean holding the WPS button while switching the unit on, and continuing to hold. Same problem - it just pulses green for a bit like it’s booting up, but then pulses white/magenta (alternating between the two colours if that makes sense?). Same if I use the reset button, or hold reset while powering off/on, or just powering on as normal.

It does flash white and blue very briefly when first switching on, whether or not the WPS button is held.

I read somewhere that it might need specific timing (ie letting go of WPS button at exactly 15s or something). I’ve tried this too but don’t have a PC to connect to see exactly what is going on.

I hard reset it a few months ago. The instructions just weren't working, both for the BQ16 Pro and GT-BE98 Pro. It took a longer press of that pinhole button at the bottom. If I recall correctly I then flipped the power off, and on. Then try to add the node.

I ignored the colors, as unfortunately I have a mild red green colorblindness...
