Browser pauses before loading page

Hi!

When I am browsing the web each klick or URL call has a 1-2 second pause before the website loads.

I'm on mavericks, chrome and safari and use the AC68 with Merlin's beta 3. Was the same with last official release too.

Any ideas?

Switching off the firewall of the router did speed up things again.

Is this advices though? Any recommendations to have the firewall on AND fast loading speed?

Have u tried testing the speed from another pc/smart phone ?
