New Around Here
Hi all, i'm new to this forum.

Currently i upgraded my network to a fiber 500mb upload/download and im highly interested in this router, my only concern is the wan to lan throughput, does anyone of you tried how fast it can go ?

I'm currently using Linksys 610N and the wan to lan throughput limited at 130-150mb , my network speed couldnt go highly with the 610N, if i directly plug the lan cable to my computer , i can get 470-500mb constantly.

Please advise , much thanks

I'd expect that it wouldn't support 500 Mbps. The WZR-HP-AG300H supports only 230 Mbps or so for downlink.

If you want >500 Mbps WAN to LAN check the Router Charts for candidates. There are currently 9 listed that match this criteria.

Thanks. i like the performance of ASUS NT-56U though. Maybe i better wait a while to look at the coming NT-66U

You mean the Buffalo WZR-HP-G450H is the same wan to lan throughput as WZR-HP-AG300H?

No, I haven't tested it. But from looking at previous designs, it's a good bet that the WZR-HP-G450H throughput won't be > 500 Mbps.

its sad enough to hear that , hope u guys will test it soon to let all of us know about its speed !

finally i bought the ASUS RT-N56U , hope it works fine. im still running with the default setting and the default firmware 1.0.1.2
